I am trying to create my online business, an at-home business. As soon as my laptop is finished being repaired, I will install Linux on it. However, which version of Linux is best for this type of business?

Also, I would PREFER a free version, because I have noticed some versions are not free.

There's no tangible advantage to paying for Linux, so indeed stick to free versions. Some good choices for desktop Linux are Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS (RHEL for free), OpenSuse, Simply Mepis, or Zenwalk. Your decision should be guided by your comfort level and willingness to spend time tinkeriing. I will say that you probably don't want things like Arch, Gentoo, Slackware, or Crux- just too time-consuming for a business. I omitted Mandriva because I've had pretty foul experiences with it, Fedora because it's generally seen as Red Hat's unstable testing ground for RHEL, and Linspire because it's ideologically repulsive. You may think this is a long list, but it's actually quite abreviated.

Ubuntu is probably the easist, Zenwalk is probably the best for an older laptop, and Debian Etch are probably the most stable.

Well it may be one answer but because of attraction is will be the right answer. Lots of website have free info on attraction. Most teachers who are any good at it know that money will come to them so they share the info for free. I even know great you tube links of real masters. I don't include the secret for the simple reason that they don't give the whole technique. Though positive thought is always worthwhile it is only one part of living intentionally. Great teachers are

They all have free info on there websites. More than enough to give you years worth of process work to master being YOU. Search You tube for any of them and you will find free taped seminars and info too.
What I have found after years of study is that more than learning LOA I am remembering it. It is a fun journey. All of these teachers have wonderful wisdom to share.
In the fields of Science the two following people are amazing and again have tons of free stuff.

Dr. Fred Alan Wolf Physics made famous by What The Bleep Do We Know wolf has books for sale as well yet he too provides lots of things for free.

I have an opportunity to invest money in a start-up network marketing company. I'd like to do some research on the management team but I'm not coming up with any good info through the search engines. Can someone tell me how to judge whether this would be a good investment?

Virtually every network marketing program is set up so the people in early (the ones that create it) get rich off the others that come in later. I'd run away as fast as you can.
